Italian Premieres at TIFF Each year we bring students to watch the Italian movie premieres screening at the International Toronto Film Festival. Through the years we had the opportunities to attend screenings and Q&As with the major contemporary actors and directors who where given the red-carpet treatment. Traitor, Martin Eden, Call me by your name and Fire at see, were just a few of the remarkable titles that our students enjoyed in our company. HOTDOCS Italian The Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival is the largest documentary festival in North America. We partnered with Hot ocs to make sure that our students will never miss a shot in watching the latest and most interesting documentaries screened in Toronto. Ferrante fever was one of the most fascinating events we attended. Other titles listed Franca Chaos and Creation, The Truffle Hunter. Lavazza Drive-in Film Festival The Italian Contemporary Film Festival (ICFF) has been a long time partner of the school, offering a monthly program with screenings of Italian movies and events held at the TIFF Bell LightBox in Toronto. Each year we've curated our students experience offering all the cultural support needed before and after the screening engaging them in conversations and analysis of the movies in class. ICFF at Home Film Festival In 2020 we partnered with ICFF at Home program to give the students the opportunity to enjoy Italian cinema from the comfort of their home. The program offered more than 50 expertly curated film and shorts, created in partnership with Toronto International Film Festival, along with filmmakers’ presentations, directors’ and actors’ messages, Q&As and exclusive events.
